OH Wow 1 Retro Handheld SPECS

LAST UPDATED: August 1, 2022  The recently announced development of the OH Wow 1 adds another handheld to the deep list of upcoming handhelds. Why The Anbernic RG-503 Gets A Soft Pass From Me

Anbernic RG-503 https://anbernic.com/products/anbernic-rg503 I thought about picking up the latest Anbernic handheld but there's just not any need for it in my mind. I think it could be a decent or average option for newcomers to the retro handheld scene though. The big plus of the RG-503 is this is the first handheld in this class that uses an OLED screen (very likely the same exact screen that was on the Vita) and they did finally use a different SoC than the played out RK3326 devices but performance-wise you still aren't getting enough of an upgrade to be worth the $150 and up this is selling for. I'm hoping this translates into other future handhelds jumping on the OLED screens. The biggest issue I have with the RG-503 is that the Retroid Pocket 2 Plus is a lot more powerful and useful at $50 less.
