Unlike the original RP2, the RP2+ is easy to set up which is why it's now my Top Pick for GBA play.  Retroid Pocket 2 Plus Review  #2 RG351P $80-$90 RG351P I'm not the biggest fan of the RG351P but the screen aspect is absolutely perfect for GBA games and they look better without filters on the RG351P than the other options.  Its a well built console that's perfect for on the go. The interface is simple and doesn't require a lot of knowledge like some systems.  #3 RG351V $100-$120 RG351V Despite hav

Super Mario 64 Stable 60FPS Port to Abernic RG351P

Pretty cool find on YouTube and Facebook I saw earlier from Retro Game Corps on a method to port Super Mario 64 to the RG351P and soon RG351. Pretty exciting tutorial here. Hit the link below.  The 351P wasn't all that great when it first came out but it's getting better and better all the time with the retro community support its getting.

the Anbernic RG351M Has Arrived (YouTube) Can't wait to see one in person. The RG351M definitely looks good as expected.

Deals: RG280V on BangGood

Prices on the Abernic RG280V seem to be creeping downward a bit over the past week. Currently you can pick one up for $59.09 + $3.40 shipping from China (CN) on BangGood. Not that it's a bad system (it is a high quality build) but the specs were not really a jump forward. I think anywhere between $50-$60 it is a great buy.  [US$69.99]ANBERNIC RG280V 16GB 7000 Games Retro Game Console with 16GB TF Card PS1 CPS1 GBA MD Mini Handheld Game Player 2.8 inch IPS HD Screen Video Games Equipment & Accessories from Consumer Electronics on banggood *I have no affiliation with BangGood or Abernic and do not profit from this post. Minecraft on the RG351P - YouTube

I'm not particularly interested in playing Minecraft on a tiny screen but if you are,  here's a good guide from Retro Game Corps on how to set it up: While this doesn't really interest me, it's definitely interesting how many things are now possible with the recent boom in decent retro handheld console. If 2021 is anything like 2020 was,  we should have some exciting things coming our way.

My Favourite Gaming Purchases of 2020: RG350P

2020 wasn't a bad year in gaming for me. I spent less focus on modern have and have gotten more and more into retro gaming. What really made 2020 special for me was discovering the RG350 line from Abernic.   Favourite Consoles Purchased : RG350P Retroid Pocket 2   Favorite Games Purchased : No More Heroes 1 & 2 (Switch) Okami HD (Switch) Favorite Apps Purchased : Dungeon Maker (Android) Dungeon Warfare 2 (Android) I can't say enough good things about the RG350 line. While the M model is a more solid build with better d-pad action I found myself simply liking the weight and feel of the RG350P. I spent $70 on it when it came out and don't regret the purchase at all. For the most part I use it for 8, 16 and 32 bit era gaming. While it can handle up to PS1, The RP2 handles that a little better.  You can't go wrong with any of the RG350 models. The original 350 has the left thumbstick above the d-pad while the P and M models have both thumbsticks at the botto

Best Retro Console Manufacturer of 2020

2020 was a pretty awesome year in the Emulation world. I have to say with no doubts that Abernic took the crown this year. Between the RG350P, RG350M, and RG351P they have is some serious options. I haven't had any hands in time with the RG280V which looks like a nice yet unnecessary move. There just wasn't enough there with the 280V to spark a lot of interest with me although I wouldn't mind having one. I can't wait to see what they have in store for us in 2021. Obviously the RG351M is just around the corner but I'm hoping for some other pleasant surprises.

Abernic RG351M Confirmed?

Perhaps... I was holding off on buying the 351P for this very reason. The 351 in metal should be slick. I'm still not a huge fan of the screen size of the 351 compared to the RG350/P/M but there are workarounds for that.
